The about page names five guides, led by owner and head guide Amarmend, with 10 to 20 years of experience each. Trips take a maximum of nine guests and a minimum age of 10. How you book

Each trip page carries a booking form with a start date, and the rates page offers only an 'ask for rates' button rather than published figures, so no price could be recorded. Trip lengths are inconsistent on the site: the trip cards all read 10 days and 9 nights, while the Headwater Expedition's own description states 7 nights and 8 days. The camps are stated as open 15 June to 15 October. A fourth entry on the trips page, 'Trip Information', is a terms page rather than a sellable trip and is not listed here.

The trip information page states that a 50 per cent non-refundable advance payment holds a reservation and that the balance is due in full at least 120 days before departure. Packages cover two hotel nights in Ulaanbaatar, airport transfers, transport to and from the river, the fishing permit, guide services, and all meals, lodging, soft drinks, beer and vodka at camp. International airfare, meals and drinks in Ulaanbaatar and gratuities are extra. Comprehensive medical and evacuation insurance is required. Fishing is catch-and-release only with single barbless hooks.

The advance payment is stated as non-refundable; no further cancellation schedule is published.
