How you book

The tours listing shows a base cost per person; the 'Customize & Book' page for each tour then prices the trip by party size and accommodation, so the 7-day Gobi trip is shown at $1,908 per person in tourist ger camps or $1,437 in a local ger guesthouse against its $839 base cost. Travellers are asked to state fitness levels and medical conditions honestly because several itineraries involve riding and trekking.

A 13% deposit is taken online through Stripe at the time of booking, and the balance is paid in cash to the guide when the tour starts in Mongolia.

Deposit refunds are set out on a separate Refund Guarantee page. If the company cancels for weather, safety conditions or events beyond its control it offers a full deposit refund or a reschedule.
