How you book

Travellers choose a departure and send an availability request through the form on the tour page or on WhatsApp. The company then issues a provisional booking. It confirms within five working days of receiving the deposit and sends trip documents 10–15 days before departure. Tours are small groups of international travellers, all led in English. The Gobi tour takes at most 15 people and charges a 440 € single room supplement. Tailor-made quotes are also offered.

A 30% deposit is due within seven days of the provisional booking, and bookings made 45 days or less before departure are paid in full. The balance is due at least 45 days before departure. Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) and bank transfer are accepted, and some tours allow part of the balance in cash on arrival. Payment is accepted in EUR, USD, GBP, AUD and CAD. The terms state that client payments are protected if the company becomes insolvent, as the EU directive requires.

The deposit is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed. Cancelling 45 days or more before departure costs the higher of 30% of the holiday cost or the deposit; cancelling 44 days or less before departure costs 100%. A date change may be allowed at the company's discretion if requested at least 60 days before departure. A booking can be transferred to another traveller for 150 € per person with at least 45 days' notice. If the company cancels for a reason other than force majeure, travellers may choose a full refund, a cheaper tour with the difference refunded, or a travel credit.

Licence and membership

The booking terms name Adventure Bound Ltd., a company registered in Bulgaria (company number BG208113939), and give tour operator licence No РК-01-8531. The company holds tour operator liability insurance under policy No. 03700100006244 from EUROINS INSURANCE JSC and says it complies with the EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302/EU).
